Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you” or the “Customer”)
and ABJ Ventures Inc (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), governing your
access to and use of playaebikes.com, including all associated media channels,
mobile websites, and mobile applications related to the Site.
By using the Site, purchasing or renting a product, or engaging with us, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue use.
1. Consent to Communication
By providing your contact information, you expressly consent to receive communications from Playa eBikes via:
- SMS/Text Messages
- Phone Calls
- iMessage
- Website Chat
Communications will only be related to customer inquiries, order confirmations, rental reminders, and support. We do not send marketing messages without explicit consent.
You may opt out of SMS messages by replying STOP.
2. Updates to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
3. Playa eBikes Rental & Purchase Contract
3.1 Acknowledgment of Risk
You acknowledge that cycling, including the use of electric bikes, involves inherent risks of injury, damage, or death.
By participating in rentals or purchases, you assume all risks and agree that Playa eBikes is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or damages.
3.2 Liability Release & Indemnification
You agree to release Playa eBikes and its affiliates from any liability related to your use of the eBike.
You further agree to indemnify Playa eBikes against any claims, damages, or legal costs arising from your participation in the Activities.
3.3 Warranty Voidance
All warranties are voided once a bike is taken to Burning Man.
Additionally, failure to follow safety precautions may void the warranty.
4. Rental Terms
4.1 Security Deposit & Damage Policy
- Security Deposit: Renters must provide a deposit equal to the difference between the rental and purchase price of the eBike.
- Lost or Stolen Bikes: The full deposit will be kept.
- Damaged Bikes: Fees vary based on severity. Partial or full deposit may be retained.
4.2 Pickup & Dropoff
- Pickup is only available in Nixon, NV. There is no shipping option.
- Renters must schedule pickup via the unique Calendly link provided in their confirmation email.
- At pickup, renters must inspect and approve the eBike’s condition.
- eBikes must be returned in clean, fully operational condition.
5. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
5.1 Arbitration Agreement
Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Nevada, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).
5.2 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Nevada.
Any legal actions shall be filed exclusively in Nevada courts.

The pick up location will be between Nixon, NV. When you arrive at the pick up location, please make sure:
- You arrive within the time slot you chose
- You bring a valid ID and Proof of Purchase.
That’s it! It is as simple is that. You eBike will be waiting for you assembled or non assembled (choose at checkout.)

Our RENTAL program
Yes, we rent our eBikes! Please take a moment to read through this entire page carefully.
Our eBikes are brand new. They are waiting for you in their original packaging. (You can request assembly for a very low $25 fee which covers the cost to dispose of the packing materials in a responsible manner). Many Burners cannot bring their eBikes back to their default life. If you wish to rent the eBike, here are the steps and terms/conditions we request you follow:
- Pay the eBike Deposit: Choose “Rent” when selecting your product on the product page. The amount at checkout will be the same.
- Schedule your Pickup: after submitting the order, you will receive an email with your receipt and a dedicated link to schedule to eBike pickup time
- Schedule your return: you will receive an additional email with a dedicated link to schedule your return.
- Get $150 Refund (for the “Eco” and $200 for the “Premium”): We will refund $150 (for the “Eco”) or $200 (for the “Premium) for any eBike that is in proper working order. The playa is hard on everything, we know. But we cannot accept returns that are broken or missing parts. We request you return it with a charge in the battery so we can test it. Also, please remove all lighting and decorations. We reserve the right not to provide a refund based on our inspection of the eBike. By selecting the “Rental Program,” you agree to allow our on-site team member to be the final decision maker in the assessment.
All Rentals are non-refundable unless expressed otherwise by Playa eBikes in writing. If you fail to bring your eBike back we will keep the deposit paid.
