When a Deposit May Be Forfeited
Your rental deposit may be partially or fully forfeited depending on the condition of the eBike and any missing components at the time of return. Below are the most common reasons a forfeiture may apply:
- One or more accessories are missing (keys, battery, or charger)
- The eBike is damaged and requires repair
- The eBike is returned in non-operational condition
- The eBike is excessively dirty and requires cleaning
- The eBike is not returned at all
How Deductions Work
There are no separate flat fees — any deduction comes out of your deposit, scaled to the situation:
- Missing accessories (keys, battery, or charger), light damage, or required cleaning: a partial deduction from your deposit
- Returned non-operational, a total loss, or not returned at all: full forfeiture of your deposit
